Analytics for Hadoop fails to launch
Hello there,
I had configured a test app with Analytics for Hadoop and Java in Bluemix, as per instructions. It's been three days and I couldn't launch Analytics for Hadoop. I tried with launch button, copied URL from credentials, tried to restart cluster and its just blank. I had emailed the issue to bluemix support and didn't heard back yet.
Anyone else faced the same issue? Is it with the server or am I missing some configurations or settings?

On the Launch page "Get Started section", there is an icon for launch also. Could you hover your mouse underneath it? (Both firefox and Chrome browser would show you the url at the bottom left). Please read of the hostname listed there. It should be b-hadoop-prod-nnn.

Yes, and the URL from launch is "https://bi-hadoop-prod-497.services.dal.bluemix.net:8443/SSOAuth/checkAccess.jsp", for which I couldn't connect. Not even with this Console URL "https://bi-hadoop-prod-497.services.dal.bluemix.net:8443/data/html/index.html" from Show Credentials option.

When I pasted the above url
https://bi-hadoop-prod-497.services.dal.bluemix.net:8443/data/html/index.html
on my browser, I got redirected to the login screen immediately. So the server seems to be running fine. Did you try entering the credential listed at the bottom of the "Launch page"? Can you provide more details regarding "couldn't connect"?

Seems like corporate proxy is blocking my port 8443. Thank you very much @1m1 for checking it.
I will try connecting with different network and update this issue.
