Are we allowed to update the application after submission ?

Hello,
As per my understanding, we may not be allowed to update the application after submission. Is that right?
I am not sure if I understand the "View Latest Version" option on the project page hence the question.

  Hi Amit,

  Good question! Once the submission period ends each entry is frozen as a snapshot in time, however, your entry is also re-created as a Portfolio submission which you can update at any time. This allows the judges to score everyone based on what they submitted by the deadline, while allowing you to keep working on your software.
